This evening when I was putting Mekiah to bed, we read a book about firefighters. I asked him if he wanted to be a a fire fighter when he grew up. Mekiah answered, " Well, I haven't decided yet, but I think I want to be a daddy." I told him that he could be a daddy and have a job and to that he said, "No, I just want to be a daddy and take care of my kids and wrestle with them. I will be a really good wrestler and I will always win." I told him he would be a great daddy, but maybe he should let his kids win wrestling sometimes since they will be little and it would not be fair if he always won. His thought were very cute!!
A funny story:
There was a nasty looking chunk smeared on one of our windows. "I think it is a booger," I said, "that is gross". Mekiah promptly went up, licked the chunk on the window and said, "It does not taste like a booger, I think it is a piece of a fruit roll". Let's just hope that Mekiah is right.....
Mekiah has learned how to ride his bike without the training wheels. He caught on very quickly and does really well.
