SO BIG

Mekiah is learning new things everyday. He uses alot of sign language to communicate, and he can also say a few words like ball, cracker and Wow. Mekiah got his first pair of light-up-shoes he really likes them. Although he tries to watch his shoes flash while he is walking and that does not work very well. He is a very sweet boy and he loves to give kisses and play hide and seek with daddy. Mekiah loves it when Jim comes home from work. He greets him with a growl and then he runs away wanting to play.

Kool Kid

Mekiah loves to sit in his little chair and he also is liking to wear hats now.

Silly Boy

Mekiah is trying on a pair of glasses that a friend left at our house. He thought that it was funny to wear them. He looks rather silly!

Our Toddler

I guess Mekiah is now considered a toddler. He is walking everywhere and is beginning to climb. He has learned a few more signs such as milk and please. We are also finding out that Mekiah is not all sweetness. He has thrown several little tantrums and is certainly getting a mind of his own. The last few days have been very sunny and warm and Mekiah loves to go outside on our patio or out to walk on the sidewalk. (He hates the grass though. Too icky feeling I guess)

I wanna be a cowboy baby!

Mekiah got a cowboy hat for his birthday from Grammy Nancy. Mekiah is riding a rocking horse that all of his Drake uncles have used in the past. It has now gotten passed on to Mekiah. Yee-haa!
