Mekiah enjoyed his first Valentine’s Day. His Auntie Crystalyn and two cousins came over and babysat so Daddy and Mommy could go and watch a movie. He loved the balloons that his Auntie brought over! We love our sweet little boy SO much!!
Sometimes Mommy lets Mekiah crawl around the house for a little while without a diaper. Well, today we had something interesting happen…. Mekiah was standing in the doorway of our office(with assistance), and all of a sudden he squated down a little and started grunting. Before we knew what was going on, it was too late. Mekiah plopped two poops right onto the carpet! Mommy thought it was hilarious, and I just shook my head and smiled… then I took a picture of the poop. Lucky for everyone reading this, I decided not to post the picture! 🙂
Happy Valentines Day!
Here is a picture of Mekiah after his first haircut. Daddy cut his hair while mommy collected the curls. He looks much more grown up now.

Today Mekiah had a lot of firsts. To begin with he got his first ear infection. Not exciting news but still a first. Mekiah also got his first haircut and he took his first step! Daddy gave him his haircut and he did a pretty good job. Our little boy is not a baby anymore, he is a toddler now. How they grow!!
Mekiah loves hallways! They echo, so he loves to scream and holler whenever we enter a hallway. (Or entryway, or tunnel) It is quite funny! Mekiah is 11 months old now and he loves to push things around the house, play peek-a-boo and clap.
